We are looking for a Full-time Audiologist to provide examinations in the clinic. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Audiologist with a degree in Audiology. You should have experience and knowledge of the principles of audiology and diagnostic techniques. Responsibilities Perform compensation and pension audio exams to assess whether a Veteranxe2x80x99s condition is service connected or whether a service-connected condition has worsened. The exams include basic diagnostic tests to evaluate the condition(s), with no treatment prescribed. Perform comprehensive examinations of the hearing and speech organs Perform tests to determine the nature, amount, and intensity of hearing loss Provide practical advice on hearing aids and other medical devices Develop and update patient lists and the schedule for appointments Keep records of patient history, medications, procedures, etc. Keeps patients updated about their condition and gives them instructions on hearing aids or other medical devices when needed Give hearing screenings to people with hearing loss Skills Proven experience as an Audiologist or other medical field Excellent knowledge of diagnostic techniques (anatomy, physiology, pathology etc.)and methods for evaluating hearing loss Working knowledge of computer programs (diagnostic evaluation is on our EHR) Excellent communication skills along with the ability to explain issues to patients and parents/guardians Good organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
