Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients’ hearing and balance Perform medical imaging procedures to examine the auditory system Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing loss or balance disorders Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and assistive listening devices Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology Skills: Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting test results Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to the auditory system Familiarity with aseptic techniques for performing medical procedures Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to adapt to changing technologies and advancements in the field of audiology Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
