Responsibilities Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients’ hearing and balance disorders Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with hearing loss or balance disorders Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss management and communication strategies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology Requirements: Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques related to audiology Proficient in the physiology of the auditory system and balance mechanisms Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment during procedures In-depth understanding of human anatomy, particularly the ear and related structures Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using various tools and equipment Excellent knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology
