An audiologist is a healthcare professional specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hearing and balance issues. They employ a range of techniques to assess auditory functions and offer comprehensive care while playing a pivotal role in fitting hearing aids, crafting educational plans for communication disorders, and mitigating hearing loss. With a growing demand in our physicianxe2x80x99s offices, we seek an audiologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Examining patients for early identification of hearing lossAdministering and analyzing hearing test resultsDeveloping treatment plans for hearing loss and other complicationsTraining patients on assistive listening devices, cochlear implants, and other devicesConducting aural rehabilitationFitting patients to their cochlear implants or other devices (if necessary)Conducting additional research on hearing and balance disordersDeveloping hearing loss prevention effortsCandidates must have a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree to be considered.
