The Vendor schedules Veterans at contracted clinical facilities and embeds practitioners in facilities as needs warrant. Dedicated facilities are located in areas where there is a large Veteran population with the potential for high volume.The appointments consist of assessments that help the VA answer questions about the Veteransxe2x80x99 current health. The practitioners will not make a determination of percent of disability or rating, develop any treatment plans or prescribe medication.Prior to every exam, the practitioner reviews each Veteranxe2x80x99s medical or mental health history, using electronic bookmarks that highlight the portions applicable to the Veteranxe2x80x99s claim(s) condition. Electronic exam documentation must be submitted within 1-2 business days of each appointment. The work performed is reviewed by a team of medical professionals at LHI to ensure contract compliance. Any requests for changes or corrections must be completed within 1 business day.xc2xa0Role Specifics/AudiometryExams are a comprehensive audio exam for assessing hearing loss or tinnitusCommon testing includes Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing and speech recognitionAll equipment necessary to perform duties will be available on-site with custom soundproof boothsxc2xa0Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a healthcare setting.
