DescriptionJob SummarySpecializes in preventative, diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to audition and communication disorders in children birth to 21 years of age. Provides clinical and professional services within the department. Evaluates neonates, pediatrics and adolescents for both inpatient and outpatient populations, and provides diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients exposed to ototoxic drugs. Conducts and interprets auditory brainstem response evaluations and newborn hearing screenings. Works as part of Multidisciplinary Clinics and collaborations, and provides professional services for patients with Craniofacial Anomalies.xc2xa0Job Specific DutiesParticipates in interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary meetings and other related meetings that pertain to the care of specific patients.Maintains and documents productivity standards set by leaders.Records daily patient documentation, statistics, and charges accurately and in a timely manner as determined by meeting departmental standards.Ensures documentation reflects evidence based practices.xc2xa0Accountable to improve access to care for the patients we serve.xc2xa0Conducts and interprets evaluations based on patient’s medical concerns, developmental age, diagnosis, and prognosis.
