Job Description: As an Audiologist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the auditory needs of students within a school setting. Your expertise will contribute to creating an environment that ensures students have access to optimal hearing health, promoting their overall educational success. Key Responsibilities:Conducting comprehensive audiological assessments for students.Providing recommendations for hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other interventions as needed.Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for students with hearing-related challenges.Conducting screenings and monitoring hearing health throughout the school year.Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input on students’ auditory needs.Keeping accurate records and documentation of assessments and interventions.Staying current with advancements in audiology and incorporating best practices into your work. Requirements:Doctoral degree in Audiology.State licensure as an Audiologist.Previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate and dedicated to the auditory well-being of students.
